Participated as director on companies executing high quality township.
A large vision needs an equally large and complex planning to execute the same. A large-scale land acquisition in itself needs one to be nimble and adaptive. Adaptive in understanding the city’s taste, preferences, political and administrative power dynamics, and its business codes. Along the way one needs to make educated guess of parameters which will be influencing the project even after a decade. Those influences could be internal from the city and the catchment area or external from other key cities. Such a study of demand and supply scenario makes a robust base for design & development. Completing development of township infrastructure in 24 months was more of learning experience of human psychology than laying material infrastructure that would support living of thousands of people of generations to come.
